Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how SUF Consulting Inc. uses cookies and similar technologies on COUNSELO Tools (counselo.sufconsulting.org). It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels, and scripts, can do the same job. They are used to make sites work, remember choices, measure usage, and sometimes to show advertising.
2. Our current use
COUNSELO Tools does not use advertising cookies. We use two kinds of storage.
- Strictly necessary: when you accept, reject, or customize in our consent banner, it saves your choice in first-party cookies (named c15t and c15t-vendors) and in your browser's local storage so we can remember it. This does not need your consent.
- Analytics: Google Analytics (Google tag, measurement ID G-Y2L8XWKN6N), provided by Google, measures how visitors use the Service, such as pages viewed and approximate location. We use Google Consent Mode. Before you choose, or if you reject, the Google tag runs in a restricted mode: it sets no cookies and sends Google only basic signals such as the page viewed, your IP address, and browser details. If you accept, it sets cookies on your device (_ga and _ga_Y2L8XWKN6N) and sends fuller usage data to Google. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Analytics (only with your consent): Microsoft Clarity (project z29krjm9p7), provided by Microsoft, records how visitors interact with the Service, such as clicks, scrolling, and page views, and may create session recordings and heatmaps. It sets cookies on your device (such as _clck, _clsk, and MUID) and sends data to Microsoft. It does not load until you allow the Analytics category. We mask the lead form so what you type there is not recorded.
3. Managing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with Cookie settings in the page footer. Your assessment answers are held in your browser's memory while you complete a tool and are sent to us only when you submit the lead form.
4. Third-party requests
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files directly from Google, which receives your IP address and standard request information. Google may handle this data under its own privacy policy. This is a request for a resource, not a cookie set by us.
5. If this changes
If we add other cookies or similar technologies later, we will update this policy first. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before setting any that are not strictly necessary, and you will be able to change your choice at any time.
6. Controlling cookies in your browser
You can see, block, or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how other websites work. Your browser's help pages explain how to do this. You can also limit third-party requests with browser privacy settings or content blockers.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
