Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SUF Consulting Inc. ("SUF Consulting", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use COUNSELO Tools at counselo.sufconsulting.org (the "Service"), including its AI assessments and calculators.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to run the assessments and deliver your results.

  • Contact and business profile: your full name, work email address, company name, company size, and job role.
  • Marketing preference: whether you chose to receive insights and updates from SUF Consulting.
  • Assessment responses and inputs: your answers to assessment questions and, for some tools, details you enter such as business function, workflow name, project name, type and objective, AI usage and data sensitivity, headcount, hours, cost, and percentage assumptions.
  • Results: the scores, classifications, findings, and recommendations generated from your responses.
  • Technical data: standard information sent by your browser or device, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, which our hosting and infrastructure providers may record in server logs.
  • Analytics data: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity collect usage information such as pages viewed, clicks and scrolling, device and browser details, approximate location, and cookie identifiers. Cookies and fuller usage data are collected only if you consent. Before you choose, Google Analytics runs in a restricted mode without cookies. Clarity may create session recordings and heatmaps, and the lead form is masked so typed entries are not recorded.

2. What not to enter

Please do not enter confidential business secrets, health information, government identifiers, financial account numbers, or other sensitive personal data in any field. The assessments do not need it.

3. How we use information

  • To generate your assessment results and deliver them to you, including by email.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service and its assessments, including measuring usage through analytics where you have consented.
  • To respond to you and, where you have asked, to contact you about AI advisory and implementation services from SUF Consulting.
  • To send insights and updates only if you answered Yes to the marketing question. You can withdraw that choice at any time.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to protect our rights, users, and the Service.

4. Legal bases

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: providing the Service you requested (performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service and in business-to-business communication; your consent for marketing; and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only as described here.

  • Within SUF Consulting, so we can store your submission, send your results, and follow up where appropriate.
  • With service providers that host the Service, store submissions, and send email, who may process data only on our behalf and for these purposes.
  • With authorities or advisers when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

6. Third-party content

We load the Google tag on every page in a restricted, cookieless mode, and if you accept the Analytics category we also enable Google Analytics cookies and load Microsoft Clarity. Google and Microsoft process the resulting data under their own privacy policies. You can withdraw consent at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the fonts from Google, which receives your IP address and standard request data under Google's own privacy policy. Links to other sites, including sufconsulting.com, are governed by those sites' policies.

7. Cookies

Our Cookie Policy explains how the Service uses cookies and similar technologies.

8. Retention

We keep submissions and contact details for as long as needed to provide your results, to pursue the business relationship you have asked about, and to meet legal, accounting, and security needs. After that we delete or anonymize them. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

11. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in them or by contacting us.

  • To exercise any of these rights, contact us. To contact us, use the contact details on sufconsulting.com.

12. Children

The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to tell you, for example by updating this page.
